Profound Medical Appoints Richard Fabian as President

Profound Medical (PRN.TO) appointed Richard Fabian as its new president, effective immediately, the company said on Tuesday.

Fabian succeeds Mathieu Burtnyk who has shifted to the newly created position of chief technology officer, a statement said.

Fabian was most recently chief executive officer of FUJIFILM Sonosite, which operates in the point-of-care ultrasound space, the company said.

Profound Medical specializes in interventional MRI procedures.

The company's shares were last seen down C$0.03 at C$9.42, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
