Prism Johnson's Consolidated Profit Falls Sharply in Fiscal Q4

Prism Johnson's (NSE:PRSMJOHNSN, BOM:500338) consolidated attributable profit plunged to 64.3 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 1.29 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share contracted to 0.13 rupees from 2.57 rupees a year earlier, the business materials manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Thursday.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 20.9 billion rupees from 19.5 billion rupees a year ago.

The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.

Singapore Airlines' Attributable Profit Shrinks in Fiscal H2; EPS, Revenue Miss Estimates

Singapore Airlines' (SGX:C6L) attributable profit to owners dropped to SG$945.5 million in the fiscal second half ended March 31 from SG$2.05 billion a year earlier, according to an after-market filing with the Singapore Exchange.Earnings per share declined to SG$0.3 from SG$0.65 a year ago. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha projected EPS of SG$0.265 for the period.Revenue rose to SG$10.8 billion year over year from SG$10.0 billion, beating Visible Alpha forecasts of SG$10.7 billion.The city-state's airline company reported an interim dividend of SG$0.05 per share at a final dividend of SG$0.22 per share for the period, along with a special interim dividend of SG$0.03 per share and a special final dividend of SG$0.07 per share.The dividends will be paid on Aug. 28, the filing said.
