Powermatic Data Systems' Attributable Profit Increases Fiscal H2

Powermatic Data Systems' (SGX:BCY) attributable profit to owners jumped in the fiscal second half ended March 31 to SG$11.6 million from SG$2.2 million a year earlier, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.

Earnings per share came in at SG$0.3296 compared with SG$0.0626 in the year-ago period.

Revenue surged year over year to SG$22.3 million from SG$6.9 million, backed by strong performances from the property development segment.

The designer and manufacturer of wireless connectivity devices declared a final dividend of SG$0.04 per share and a special dividend of SG$0.0015 per share.

Asiatic Group (SGX:5CR) posted a loss attributable to equity holders of SG$25.7 million in the fiscal fourth quarter, compared with an attributable profit of SG$939,000 a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore bourse.Loss per share came in at SG$0.0078 in the quarter ended March 31, versus earnings per share of 0.0003 a year earlier.The engineering management specialist's revenue slid 15% year over year to SG$6, the filing said.
