Polyrizon (PLRZ) has secured agreements with three US clinical sites for its upcoming Nasarix trial, marking a key step toward initiating its multi-center study in seasonal allergic rhinitis, the company said Monday.
The sites represent major enrollment centers expected to support patient recruitment for the study evaluating the safety, tolerability and efficacy of its intranasal hydrogel allergy blocker.
Polyrizon said the trial will compare Nasarix with saline spray in patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis, with up to five US sites expected to participate in total.
Shares of Polyrizon were down more than 3% in Monday trading.
