PNE Industries Swings to Loss in Fiscal H1

PNE Industries (SGX:BDA) booked a loss after tax of SG$668,000 during the fiscal first half ended March 31, against a profit of SG$461,000 a year earlier.

Loss per share came in at SG$0.008, compared with earnings per share of SG$0.005 in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The electronics manufacturing services company's revenue declined year over year to SG$31.3 million from SG$34.9 million.

The company proposed an interim dividend of SG$0.005 per share for the period, compared with SG$0.01 from the prior year. The dividend will be paid on June 12.
