Pilbara Gold (ASX:PGL) started a 12,000-meter reverse circulation drill program at its Roe Hills gold project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The 2.5-month program will primarily focus on Terra, with 1,600 meters allocated to Caliburn, per the filing.
The company aims to complete all drilling activities at the project within three months, the filing said.
The company plans to use the drilling results to define geological and mineralized zones and evaluate the potential for establishing a maiden mineral resource estimate at the Terra and Caliburn prospects, the filing added.
