Pilbara Gold (ASX:PGL) said drilling continues to extend gold mineralization at the Main Hill and Breccia Hill prospects within the Mt York gold project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 5 meters at 7.91 grams per tonne grade of gold from 29 meters as well as 17 meters at 3.21 g/t grade of gold from 349 meters.
Drilling indicates that the banded iron formation and mineralization extend at depth below the current resource. Prefeasibility study infill drilling is on track for completion in October. Mt York mineral resource estimate update remains targeted for early 2027.
