Pharmaron Beijing (HKG:3759, SHE:300759) expects attributable net profit of 729.5 million yuan to 771.5 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, up 4% to 10% from 701.4 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The pharmaceutical company expects first-half revenue of 7.47 billion yuan to 7.66 billion yuan, up 16% to 19% from 6.44 billion yuan in the prior-year period.
Pharmaron attributed the expected growth to stronger strategic customer demand and robust growth in its small-molecule CDMO business, with newly signed orders rising more than 30% in the first half.
