PEXA Group (ASX:PXA) notified investors that the New South Wales Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) on Friday published the non-confidential responses to its draft report on a review of service fees for electronic lodgment network operators, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's statement came in response to "significant investor interest" in how the review will proceed.
In its own submission to IPART, the company argued that the draft recommendation "is not well-founded, results in a manifestly excessive price cut, and is unprecedented."
PEXA said it will continue to engage with IPART in pursuit of a balanced outcome for the industry, including the use of a model that is suitable for a capital expenditure-light digital business.
Its shares fell nearly 1% in recent Friday trade.
