PEXA Group Challenges IPART's Proposed ELNO Fee Methodology

By

PEXA Group (ASX:PXA) has lodged its response to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal's (IPART) draft review of Electronic Lodgment Network Operator (ELNO) service fees, backed by independent expert reports that challenge the proposed methodology and rate-of-return approach, according to an Australian bourse filing on Tuesday after market hours.

The company's submission includes fiscal 2026 Australian Exchange transaction volumes of 4.2 million and July transfer volumes of around 192,000, while fiscal 2027 forecasts have been redacted pending final results and guidance, with volumes expected to decline amid recent macroeconomic changes, per the filing.

IPART's final report is expected by the end of September, after which Australian Registrars' National Electronic Conveyancing Council will consult on and determine its response, the filing said.

The company will release its fiscal 2026 results on Aug. 28, with management expected to discuss the ELNO review, fiscal 2027 outlook and other matters with investors, the filing added.
