PETRONAS Chemicals Group (KLSE:PCHEM) swung to a profit of 414 million ringgit in the second quarter of 2026 from a loss of 1.08 billion ringgit a year ago, according to a Wednesday filing to the Malaysian bourse.
Basic earnings per share in the three months came in at 0.05 ringgit compared with a loss per share of 0.0014 ringgit a year earlier, the chemicals manufacturer said.
Revenue in Q2 also increased to 7.9 billion ringgit from 6.44 billion ringgit a year ago.
The company's board declared the first interim single-tier dividend of 0.06 ringgit per ordinary share for the financial year ending Dec. 31, payable on Sept. 15.
The company's shares were up over 1% in recent trade.
