Perseus Mining (ASX:PRU) delivered an updated group measured and indicated mineral resources of 270.3 million tonnes grading 1.22 grams per tonne gold, containing 10.6 million ounces of gold as of June 30, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Last year's estimate was 185.9 million tonnes grading at 1.3 g/t gold for 7.8 million ounces of gold, the filing said.
The proved and probable ore reserves stand at 175.2 million tonnes grading 1.24 g/t gold for 7 million ounces of gold compared with last year's 116.7 million tonnes grading 1.33 g/t gold for 5 million ounces, per the filing.
Shares rose 10% in morning trade Wednesday.
