Penetrium Bioscience (KOSDAQ:187660) secured approval to carry out an open-label, dose-escalation, multicenter phase one clinical trial to evaluate the safety and maximum tolerated dose of Penetrium in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with refractory or relapsed solid tumors.
The approval was granted by South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), according to a Wednesday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The clinical trial will be conducted at the domestic level.
