Pekat Group's (KLSE:PEKAT) subsidiary Pekat E & LP has secured three subcontracts worth 57.2 million ringgit with an undisclosed contractor, according to a Monday filing to the Malaysian stock exchange.
The contracts are for the design, supply, installation, and testing of earthing and lightning protection systems and associated works for a project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia,
The first subcontract, worth 27.2 million ringgit, started in July and is expected to be completed by September 2027, while the second, of 4.6 million ringgit, began in March and is scheduled to finish by February 2027. The third contract, worth 25.3 million ringgit, started in January and is expected to be completed by February 2027.
The subcontracts are expected to contribute positively to the company's revenue and earnings for the financial year ending Dec. 31 until their expiry.
The company's shares were up over 1% in recent trade.
