Peel Mining Says Drilling at New South Wales Target Returns Broad Silver-Zinc-Lead Intercepts; Shares Up 3%

Peel Mining (ASX:PEX) said assays from recent reverse circulation drilling completed at the Link Zone South target at the Southern Nights Complex in New South Wales returned multiple broad, high-grade silver-zinc-lead intercepts, confirming the continuity of mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company encountered intercepts of 24 meters at 138 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 5.7% grade of zinc, 3.3% grade of lead, 0.6 g/t grade of gold, and 0.2% grade of copper from 141 meters, as well as 9 meters at 202 g/t grade of silver, 5.4% grade of zinc, 3.1% grade of lead, 0.1 g/t grade of gold, and 0.1% grade of copper from 129 meters.

A recently completed deep diamond drill‑hole at the main Link Zone intersected visually significant sulfide mineralization beyond the current mineral resource envelope.

Peel Mining's shares rose 3% in recent Thursday trade.

Shanghai International Airport (SHA:600009) reported higher passenger throughput at its two airports in March, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.At the Pudong International Airport, passenger throughput rose 11% year over year to 7.4 million, while its cargo and mail throughput climbed 8.1% to 372,100 tons, and aircraft movements increased 4.7% to 47,395 flights.The Hongqiao International Airport saw a 6.1% year-on-year rise in passenger throughput to 4.4 million, while cargo and mail throughput inched up 0.3% to 35,700 tons, and aircraft movements increased 2.4% to 24,683 flights.
