PC Gold (ASX:PC2) identified a new high-grade target outside the mineral resource estimate at its Spring Hill gold project in the Northern Territory, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Channel sampling at the Southern Adit tunnel area along the mineralized strike that was historically excavated has reported 20.4 meters at 13 grams per tonne grade of gold, the company said.
Channel sampling results inside of the mineral resource estimate also reported "significantly higher grades" than those in the corresponding areas of the block model, per the filing.
The Southern Adit target area remains untested by drilling, representing significant exploration upside, with drilling planned to start later in September, the company said.
