Paramount Skydance (PSKY) will meet with the Writers Guild of America and state attorneys general blocking its merger with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) for a two-day, court-mandated settlement conference starting Oct. 14, according to media reports citing a court filing.

The settlement meeting is intended to explore potential deals between the parties, with each side required to file their respective settlement statements by Oct. 7, Deadline reported.

Paramount Skydance did not immediately respond to' request for a comment.

Tempest Therapeutics (TPST) signed an exclusive option agreement with China's Hebei Senlang Biotechnology to license a clinical-stage technology that delivers CAR-T cancer treatments directly inside the body, along with a portfolio of related drug candidates.The portfolio includes an early-stage treatment that targets two proteins linked to multiple myeloma and is now being tested in a phase 1 study, Tempest said Tuesday in a statement.
