Palisade Investment Partners has expanded its clean energy footprint by acquiring 100% interests in two major development-stage assets in Australia, the Monogorilby Renewable Energy Park in Queensland and the Winton Renewable Energy Storage and Stability Terminal in Victoria.
The company said on Monday that MREP, originated by LP Renewable Projects, integrates up to 600 MW of wind generation with a co-located 400 MWac / 1,600 MWh Battery Energy Storage System.
Meanwhile, WRESST, originated by Celero Infrastructure near Benalla, is a grid-forming 400 MWac / 1,600 MWh BESS positioned adjacent to the Glenrowan Terminal Station, designed to connect seamlessly without requiring new transmission lines.
LPRP and Celero will continue providing development services through financial close, after which Palisade Integrated Management Services will take over asset management.
