Osmond Resources (ASX:OSM) said the first step-out drill hole in the Southern block at the Orión EU rare earth, titanium, and zirconium project in Spain intersected the heavy mineral-prospective Pochico formation, a siliciclastic geological system, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The drill hole was located 1.25 kilometers from earlier discovery drill holes, which intersected a primary high-grade heavy mineral seam.
Its shares rose 4% in recent trading on Monday.
