Orezone Gold (ASX:ORE) has restarted operations at its Casa Berardi mine in Quebec, with mining activities resuming on July 17 after a voluntary suspension due to nearby wildfire activity, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said a skeleton crew maintained the site during the temporary suspension and completed planned maintenance ahead of schedule, which it expects will reduce maintenance downtime for the remainder of the year, per the filing.
The company reaffirmed its 2026 production guidance of 62,000 to 67,000 ounces of gold from the Casa Berardi mine, the filing added.
