-- Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) started exploration activities at its fully owned Coolgardie lithium projects in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company has launched a 3,000-meter reverse circulation drilling program at the Kangaroo Hills lithium project to test extensions of an emerging mineralized system, with results expected in June.
The drilling will also test strike extensions at the Big Red pegmatite discovery, which extends over 900 meters in strike length, and target the 250-meter-long Potoroo mineralized pegmatite, per the filing.
Ore Resources said it is "well funded and strongly positioned" to progress exploration at Coolgardie and other projects over the year, with a cash balance of AU$9.6 million as of March 31.
The company's shares gained 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
