Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI said Tuesday in a blog post that it has launched its GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna AI models.
The launch expands the GPT-6 portfolio after the introduction of GPT-6 Astra earlier in the month, the company said.
Improvements in caching and inference allow the two new models to be offered at a lower cost, with API prices 50% cheaper compared with GPT-5.6 promotional pricing, it said.
