Old Chang Kee's Profit Slides 12% in Fiscal H2

Old Chang Kee's (SGX:5ML) profit for the fiscal second half ended March 31 fell by 12% to SG$4.5 million from SG$5.1 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.0374 compared with SG$0.0422 in the year-ago period.

The food and beverage company's revenue inched up 2.8% year over year to SG$51.5 million from SG$50.1 million.

Azeus Systems' Profit Falls 27% in Fiscal H2

Azeus Systems' (SGX:BBW) profit declined 27% during the fiscal second half ended March 31 to HK$86.4 million from HK$118.1 million a year earlier, according to a Sunday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Shares of the software engineering company were down under 1% in Monday trading.Revenue fell 8% year over year to HK$281.3 million from HK$305.5 million.

Guangdong Taienkang Pharmaceutical (SHE:301263) said its Phase IIa clinical trial for CKBA Cream in treating papulopustular rosacea has completed enrollment of all 15 subjects, with positive preliminary data prompting early initiation of Phase IIb.The trial showed significant inflammatory lesion reduction after eight weeks and no serious adverse reactions, according to a Monday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.Shares of the drugmaker rose 1% in recent trade.
