OKE Precision Cutting Tools to Acquire 51% Stake in Yongxin Precision

OKE Precision Cutting Tools (SHA:688308) plans to acquire a 51% controlling stake in Yongxin Precision via equity purchases and a capital increase.

Shareholders participating in the performance commitment and earn-out agreement will transfer 17.88% of their equity interest at a valuation of 629 million yuan, while shareholders not participating in the performance commitment and earn-out agreement will transfer 4% of their equity interest at a valuation of 400 million yuan.

The company will transfer 15.62% of its equity at a valuation of 100 million yuan, for a total transaction consideration of 175 million yuan.

Simultaneously, OKE Precision Cutting Tools will increase its capital in the target company by 250 million yuan, acquiring a 26.32% holding.

Shares of the cutting tools maker closed less than 2% higher Thursday.

Qantas Airways to Start Retiring A380 Fleet in 2028; Shares Gain 4%

Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) will start retiring its Airbus A380 airliner fleet in 2028, replacing it with aircraft that can fly further and operate on all of the airline's international network routes, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.The company is in talks with Airbus and Boeing to convert around 20 of its purchase right options to firm orders starting from 2030, per the filing."This fleet renewal is expected to significantly improve Qantas International's earnings performance and reduce operational complexity," with its operating margin forecast to increase to between 10% and 12% from fiscal 2032, the company said.Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson said the company took delivery of 17 new aircraft in fiscal 2026 with up to 31 more to arrive in the year ahead.The company's shares gained 4% in recent Thursday trade.
