OBIC Business Consultants' (TYO:4733) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 19.7% to 4.88 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter, up from 4.07 billion yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
The consulting firm's basic earnings per share increased to 64.89 yen from 54.19 yen a year ago.
Net sales grew 13.8% to 13.8 billion yen in the three months ended June 30 compared with 12.2 billion yen a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company forecasts an attributable profit of 19.4 billion yen, basic EPS of 257.39 yen, and net sales of 57.5 billion yen.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 65 yen per share each, totalling 130 yen for the full fiscal year.
