Producer manufacturing shares gained the most on New Zealand's Exchange, rising 1% by midday Friday.
Shares of Scott Technology (NZE:SCT) were up 8% in recent trade.
The company on Tuesday said it expects to post a record financial result for fiscal 2026, forecasting revenue of NZ$290 million to NZ$296 million and operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of NZ$34 million to NZ$36 million, up from NZ$275 million and NZ$31.5 million, respectively, a year earlier.
Meanwhile, shares of the commercial services sector fell almost 2%.
Livestock Improvement (NZE:LIC) was down past 4% in recent trade.
