Consumer services stocks advanced nearly 2% at midday Monday.

SkyCity Entertainment Group (NZE:SKC, ASX:SKC) gained almost 1% in recent trade.

On the flip side, the technology services sector struggled, shedding more than 2%.

Shares of Vista Group International (NZE:VGL, ASX:VGL) fell 2% in recent trade.

Auric Mining Raises Western Australia Gold Deposit's Mineral Resource by 32%; Shares Rise 3%

Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) said it re-estimated the indicated and inferred mineral resource at its Munda gold deposit in Western Australia to 4.2 million tonnes at 1.43 grams per tonne grade of gold for 192,000 ounces of gold, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.The latest reading is up 32% from the December 2024 estimate despite the depletion of around 10,000 ounces, per the filing.The re-estimation incorporates data from mining of the starter pit, including mill reconciled gold production that was 46% higher than expected."Despite increasing the estimated grade, the resource estimate remains conservative when compared to actual production results," Auric Mining said, adding that additional planned drilling is expected to further expand the gold resource.The company's shares gained 3% in recent Monday trade.

Great Boulder Resources Finds Multiple High-Grade Gold Beyond Current Resource at Western Australia Project; Shares Up 5%

Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) found multiple high-grade gold beyond the current resource at its Side Well project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.Results include 0.45 meters at 165 grams per tonne grade of gold from 455 meters, and four meters at 24 g/t grade of gold from 134 meters, the filing said.Reverse circulation drilling is ongoing at Eaglehawk, alongside air-core drilling on broad-spaced reconnaissance fences in the Eastern Corridor, per the filing.Shares rose 5% in morning trade on Monday.
