MediaTek's (TPE:2454) consolidated net income in the second quarter fell 12% year on year to NT$24.6 billion.Earnings per share in the quarter ended June 30 slipped to NT$15.28 from NT$17.50 a year earlier, according to a Friday filing.Revenue of the chip supplier in Q2 climbed 1.2% year over year to NT$152.2 billion.The company expects to post a consolidated revenue of around NT$152.2 billion to 159.8 billion in the third quarter.
Xinyi Glass (HKG:0868) recorded a 17% rise in attributable profit to 1.19 billion yuan for the first half of 2026 from 1.01 billion yuan a year prior.Earnings per share rose to 0.2672 yuan from 0.2325 previously, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.Revenue declined 3.1% to 9.52 billion yuan from 9.82 billion yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to a drop in the average selling prices of float glass products.The glass manufacturing company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.15 per share for the period, payable on or around Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 19.
