Nufarm (ASX:NUF) expects underlying earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for fiscal 2026 to rise about 25% to AU$370 million to AU$380 million, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Leverage is forecast to decline to around 2 times from 2.7 times, supported by stronger earnings, improved cash generation, and better working capital management, per the filing.
Seed Technologies is expected to deliver strong growth, supported by hybrid seeds and improved omega-3 pricing, while Crop Protection is likely to remain broadly stable year-on-year amid currency headwinds and softer conditions in North America, the filing said.
The company is advancing its strategy refresh, including site closures and stock-keeping unit rationalization, and remains on track to achieve AU$50 million in annualized cost savings by fiscal 2027, the filing added.
