NuEnergy (KLSE:NHB) unit IL Energy has extended the completion deadline for its 68 million ringgit acquisition of solar assets from Armani Energy to Sept. 30 from June 30.
Shares of the renewable energy company gained about 3% in recent trade.
The extension was mutually agreed with the vendor as the company is still awaiting the novation of two remaining Solar Energy Renewable Agreement-related contracts, which require customers to complete documentation with the national electricity utility, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.
NuEnergy said it expects the remaining novations to be completed by the new deadline.
