NOVONIX (ASX:NVX) received testing results from the initial shipment of a mass production qualification sample of synthetic graphite anode active material from its lead customer, with the material meeting 12 out of the 14 total specification parameters, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
NOVONIX's internal testing indicated that the material met all required specifications, per the filing. It identified actions to address the remaining specification parameters after receiving the feedback.
It continues to expect the start of mass production sales to its lead customer to begin in the second half of 2027.
Its shares climbed 7% in recent trading on Thursday.
