Nova Minerals' (ASX:NVA) flotation testing on low-grade Korbel ore produced gold concentrate of up to 26.7 grams per tonne grade of gold with recoveries exceeding 95%, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The testing was conducted on a composite sample generated from diamond drill core from the Korbel Main deposit, part of the Estelle project in Alaska, within a broader pre-feasibility study-level metallurgical test work program, the filing said.
Carbon-in-leach test work and further studies are in progress to refine the flowsheet, confirm high gold recovery and gangue rejection, and optimize plant design and overall project economics, per the filing.
