Nova Minerals (ASX:NVA) completed the engineering and design for its Estelle antimony pilot processing plant in Alaska, and expects construction to start in the current quarter, according to a late Monday statement.
The engineering and design for the fully funded pilot plant covers the Whiskey Bravo front-end processing site, Port MacKenzie beneficiation plant, Port MacKenzie refinery, and supporting infrastructure.
The plant will use a proprietary cleaner hydrometallurgical processing method to ensure that antimony trisulfide production is in line with US Department of War military-grade quality specifications, the company said.
The antimony project is ahead of schedule as it enters the execution phase, Nova Minerals CEO Christopher Gerteisen said.
