Norwegian renewables developer Scatec produced 1,135 gigawatt-hours from its fleet of power plants in Q2, a 21% year-on-year increase driven by new projects entering operation, it said in its earnings statement published on Friday.
It established a commercial operation date for its 563-megawatt Obelisk phase 2 solar project in Egypt, for the 142-MW Rio Urucula project in Brazil and for the 16-MWh Magat BESS 2 battery storage project in the Philippines, it said.
The company began construction on its 120-MW Sidi Bouzid 2 solar project in Tunisia and the 77 MW onshore wind project in Urleasca, Romania while it added the 89-MW / 178-MWh Buciumi project in Romania to backlog status.
Full-year 2026 power production guidance has been increased to 5.35 terawatt-hours, up from 5.05 TWh previously, the company said.
