Northern Minerals (ASX:NTU) secured further relief from Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), extending the deadline for its delayed 2025 annual general meeting (AGM) to Nov. 30, or 42 business days after Treasury confirms compliance with the May disposal orders, whichever comes first, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The extension is intended to allow the required share disposals to be completed while giving the Treasury and the company additional time to assess suspected non-compliance with the orders, including the requirement that the shares be sold to non-associates, per the filing.
The company will convene the 2025 AGM within the applicable deadline, the filing added.
