Nordic Group Bags SG$72 Million Worth of Contracts; Shares Up 3%

Nordic Group (SGX:MR7) secured new contracts worth around SG$71.5 million across several industries, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Around SG$59.7 million worth of contracts came from the Engineering Solutions Group and SG$11.8 million from the Engineering Services Group.

Meanwhile, defense contracts account for SG$19.7 million and SG$19.5 million were marine and offshore contracts.

The marine and offshore contracts cover a series of 76 vessels with deliveries scheduled from the third quarter of the year till the fourth quarter of 2027.

Shares of the engineering services company were up nearly 3% in Friday trading.

Southern Score Builders Arm Bags Order Worth MYR146.5 Million

SJEE Engineering, a subsidiary of Southern Score Builders Berhad (KLSE:SSB8), has secured an order worth 146.5 million ringgit from a local construction company to undertake a subcontract project, according to a Thursday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The company's shares were up nearly 2% in Friday's trade.The subcontract project is for Electrical Package 3 Works for a data center project, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 15, 2028.The project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of the company from the financial year ending June 30, 2027, until the completion of the project.
