Nomura Real Estate (TYO:3231) posted a 37% decrease in attributable net profit for the fiscal first quarter to 14.7 billion yen from 23.2 billion yen a year earlier.
The real estate firm's earnings per share were 17.23 yen, compared with 26.98 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Thursday.
Operating revenue decreased 14% to 191.1 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 221.4 billion yen a year earlier.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 86 billion yen, basic EPS of 100.48 yen, and operating revenue of 1.08 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 22 yen per share, each, for the current year, higher than the amount paid in the year-ago period.
