Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power, a joint venture of NLC India (NSE:NLCINDIA, BOM:513683) and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, has declared the third unit of 660 MW of the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project in India commercially operational, according to a Saturday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
With this, Unit 3 of the Ghatampur Thermal Power Station (3×660 MW) is now fully commissioned.
NLC group's overall installed capacity increased to 8,405 MW from 7,745 MW.
