Nippon Sanso (TYO:4091) posted a 54% year-over-year surge in attributable net income for the fiscal first quarter to 43.7 billion yen from 28.4 billion yen.
The industrial gas supplier's basic earnings per share were 101 yen, compared with 65.60 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Revenue rose 15% to 361.8 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 314.8 billion yen a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable net income of 131 billion yen, basic EPS of 302.64 yen, and revenue of 1.38 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 33 yen per share, each, for the current year, up from the amount paid in the previous fiscal year.
