Nippon Kayaku (TYO:4272) has agreed to initiate share sale demand procedures to fully acquire Sanko Chemical Industry, increasing its voting rights to 100% from 89.7%, effective Oct. 13.
The company said the move will further improve group management efficiency and utilization of resources, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.
Sanko Chemical, based in Kanagawa, Japan, operates in the methyl bromide and real estate leasing businesses.
