Ningbo Construction (SHA:601789) obtained the approval of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors to issue up to 2 billion yuan in medium-term notes.
The registration is valid for two years, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse. Proceeds will be used for working capital and bank loan repayment.
China Construction Bank and Bank of Communications serve as joint lead underwriters.
Shares of the civil engineering company rose 1% in recent trade.
