NexGen Energy (ASX:NXG) said drilling at Patterson Corridor East in Canada expanded the high-grade subdomain both up and down dip, with the vertical extent expanded by 17% to 644 meters, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
A down-plunge test hole intersected multiple stacked uranium veins across 40 meters, intersecting cumulative 19.5 meters of over 10,000 counts per second.
A total of 20,138.7 meters of drilling, of the planned 42,000 meters, was completed at the discovery. Eleven drill holes totalling 7,425.2 meters further tested the mineralization at Patterson Corridor East. NexGen added a fifth drill rig.
Its shares fell 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
