The prices of new residential properties in China's first-tier cities grew 0.1% month on month in April, decelerating from the 0.2% expansion in March, the National Bureau of Statistics reported Monday.
Prices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen jumped 0.4%, 0.1%, and 0.1%, respectively. Beijing saw a 0.2% fall in new-home prices, the NBS said.
Prices of existing homes in first-level cities jumped 0.4% month on month.
On a yearly basis, prices of newly built residential buildings slid 2.1% while those of existing homes plunged 6.8%.
