Newlink Technology Eyes Acquisition to Boost Tech Application

Newlink Technology (HKG:9600) flagged its potential acquisition of HK Ant Global Investment for up to HK$100 million, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The memorandum of intent, with an exclusivity period of 90 days, was signed with Silicon Base Technology, Ant Global Investment and HK Ant beneficial owners Qu Zhaojuan and Yuan Xiaona.

If pursued, the acquisition is expected to allow the IT company to strengthen its application of cutting-edge technologies, such as AI and big data analytics, for its customers.
