New China Life Insurance (SHA:601336, HKG:1336) reported 22.8 billion yuan in profit attributable to owners for the first half, compared with 14.8 billion yuan a year ago, a Wednesday bourse filing showed.
EPS moved to 7.31 yuan from 4.74 yuan year over year.
For the six months ended June 30, revenue was 81.6 billion yuan, versus 69.4 billion yuan previously, the insurer said.
The company declared an interim dividend of 0.73 yuan per share for the period.
