Neuren Pharmaceuticals' (ASX:NEU) partner Acadia upgraded its fiscal 2026 guidance for trofinetide net product sales to between $480 million and $510 million from a range of $460 million to $490 million, implying royalties of $53 million to $56 million for the company, Jefferies said in a Wednesday note.
The upgrade was due to a strong uptake of Daybue Stix, with Acadia noting that the number of patients returning to Daybue hit a record level during the second quarter.
Second quarter trofinetide royalties for the company were above Jefferies forecasts at roughly AU$18.2 million, up 23% on last year.
Jefferies reaffirmed its buy rating on Neuren Pharmaceuticals and lifted its price target to AU$29.40 from AU$28.80.
Neuren Pharmaceuticals shares rose 2% in morning trade Thursday.
