Netwealth Group to Acquire AI Adviser Workflow Provider Paradino

Netwealth Group (ASX:NWL) agreed to acquire 100% of Australian artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled adviser workflow and advice automation provider Scale Up Platform Solutions, trading as Paradino, for upfront consideration of AU$20 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The deal comprises AU$15 million in cash and AU$5 million in company shares, with up to a further AU$9 million in earn-out and retention payments over four years, per the filing.

The company will invest an additional AU$10 million over two years to accelerate Paradino's product development and support its growth.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of October and is not anticipated to have a material impact on near-term earnings, the filing added.

Orora Chief Safety, Sustainability, Governance Officer to Step Down at End of Year

Orora (ASX:ORA) said Ann Stubbings plans to step down as chief safety, sustainability, and governance officer, effective Dec. 31, after more than 13 years with the packaging products firm, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.In addition, Susannah Jobling Hodgens will be appointed as chief legal officer, the company said. Market Chatter: Korea Exchange to Extend Trading Hours till 8PM

South Korea's main stock market, the Korea Exchange, will enable trading till 8 pm following the regular close at 3:30 pm from Monday, in its move toward 24-hour trading, Bloomberg News reported Sunday.This decision opens 2,400 Korea Composite Stock Price Index, or Kospi, and Kosdaq stocks for evening trades, which include short-selling.
