NBCC (India) Wins Two Construction Contracts; Shares Up 3%

NBCC (India) (NSE:NBCC, BOM:534309) received two work orders for construction projects from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and Indian Bank (NSE:INDIANB, BOM:532814), according to a Saturday filing on Indian bourses.

Shares of the company rose nearly 3% in Monday's trade.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti awarded NBCC a project worth 69.2 million rupees for extension work of an existing school building and additional staff quarters, the filing said.

Separately, Indian Bank awarded NBCC a 356.3 million rupees contract for the construction of office premises in Andhra Pradesh.
