Native Mineral Resources Holdings Produces Two Gold Doré Bars in Queensland Project Smelt

Native Mineral Resources Holdings (ASX:NMR) said the smelt completed on Tuesday produced two gold doré bars with a combined doré weight of 340.9 ounces at its Blackjack project in Queensland, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Assay results for the Sept. 1 smelt confirmed 191.99 ounces of gold and 168.05 ounces of silver, with a combined gold assay of 47.89%. The two bars had a combined official received weight of 400.9 ounces.

Around 815,000 tonnes of material were moved across the Blackjack Mid and Podosky pits since April/May. Drilling continues at Blackjack North pit.

Posco (KRX:005490) union workers began the first day of their two-day partial strike on Wednesday after negotiations with management over wages and other compensation failed in South Korea, Yonhap News reported the same day.Workers began a 48-hour partial strike, with 40 participating employees at the Pohang plant and 80 at the Gwangyang plant.
