National Australia Bank Shares Down After Resolution of Union Court Proceedings

-- National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) shares were down about 1% in recent Monday trade following a Friday settlement with the Finance Sector Union of Australia to resolve court proceedings related to excessive additional working hours for employees.

The settlement, reached on a without-admissions basis through mediation, includes the establishment of a health, safety, and well-being framework to mitigate the risks linked to working additional hours, and calls for greater oversight of such risks.

The union and the bank said in a joint statement that they are "committed to continuing to work together to ensure fair and sustainable outcomes for all [National Australia Bank] employees."
